Last weekend I cut out some very cool shapes from my cricut cartridge called Summer in Paris. I used these images, from black cardstock, to decorate our dinning room during my Darling daughter’s birthday party. When cleaning up I did not have the heart to throw them away so I decided to alter them and create some cool wall art pieces.
Here is what it looked like before…
I just adore this transformation! I happen to be in the process of turning the walk-in closet off my scrap room into a sewing closet and thought this would just be perfect to help bring some of my scrap room colors into that space.
Here you can see the wonderful P K Glitz colors I used to spice up this silhouette. Chocolate, Copper Penny and Red Hot Chilly Pepper matched my scrap room perfectly! I took some Bronze Ritzy Ditzy Glitz and accented the flowers a bit to help them sparkle as well.
Next time you get in a creative mood, look around and see what you can find that could use a little Glitz to make life beautiful!
